Can anyone suggest some easy hairstyles for long hair?

I have really long hair. It goes down to my hips. I usually were it down, in a ponytail, or in a braid. I am looking for some other styling options that would be easy for me to do myself. I am looking for something classy yet fun and youthful. Any ideas.

Here are some good ones. Knots, whether loose or tight are hot. Experiment. Practice. Buy a big box of bobby pins at the beauty supply for $5.00. Enjoy !

You should by the long sponge rollers and roll your hair into some cute spirals ;)

Maybe you should pin it up more also..

Good Luck

i DO MY HAIR IN TWISTYS, you just part the front of your hair in to several two inch parts from ear to ear the tak one part and hairpray it and twist it back and secure with a bobby pin or two. After you have done this flip your head over pull it up lke you would in a clip but instead just bobby pin it all over so simple but cute

you put it in a bun....a messy bun....

you could tie it into a ponytail and then invert it to make it look like a heart.....

Thousands of variations on the braid/braids, hon. Think about beads, weaving the actual hair like basketwork or crochet, etc. Top knots are sassy looking. A clever chingon with just one pin to hold it comes to mind. Using Chopsticks like you would a pencil to hold the twist up. I hope that's enough....my ideas just went phfffft!

When I was young, I had hair down to the backs of my knees. One of my favorite things to do with it was make 2 braids then wind them around my head ala Heidi. Sounds funny looking but you have to have attitude to carry it off.

wash, condition, towel dry half way.

since your hair is longer section it into 6 different parts while its still pretty damp. twist each section untill it starts to go into its own little bun. and clip it so it feels secure. (you can apply hairspray for better holdb4 you twist it.). do that to all 6.

since you have more hair it could take a couple hours and then sleeping in it for it to dry all the way. (try using a regular fan while you sleep also)

do not take them out if they feel the slightest bit damp or the weight will make this not work.

after you take them out do NOT use a brush or a pick. use your fingers to section it and get it to where you like it.

you can pull the bangs part into a little cute clippy or hairthing. just use your imagination!

after thats done use some hairspray for better hold.

hope this helps.

Well, I wouldn't call this really fun-looking, only classy, but if you're just lounging and don't have time afterwards to change your hair before a party, you should try this:

First you tie your hair in a tight ponytail, then kind of part it down to the back of your neck. Flip your hair through the hole and you'll get a pretty ponytail/bun.
