What's the best way to maintain long hair?

I do have long hair, but I don't know what to do with it. Should I put it in a pony tail, braid,or what?

Any suggestions?

where it down when you can. but it's so hot i wear my hair up sometimes. Then in April when the wind is bad I always wear it up so that it won't break. but it all depends on the body of your hair and the weather. Well that's what I think

Leave it down and keep it silky and shiny.

Trim it atleast once a month because newly trimmed hair is easier to style and handle.

Anyway held up with a hairtie is cute - whatever you like.

I always braided mine at nite to keep it from tangling. Leave it down or pull half back and get it trimmed regularly (like every 6 weeks). You can do anything with it!

I suggest you go and get a short and sassy cut, and donate your hair to Locks of Love. They are a non-profit organization that makes wigs for children who do not have hair as a result of medical conditions.

You'll look great, and help someone else at the same time!

I also have long hair sometimes i go for the laid back look sometimes i put it in a ponytail it all depend on your mood, the occasion, and what you are wearing. It is cute and casual a crimped look i usually get very good results with this because my hair is so straight i will wash it at night out gel in it and tie it up tight in a bun and in the morning let it down dont brush it apply mousse or gel again crimp a little more and you have curly hair like you havent had

I have long hair as well. Avoid over heating it. Dry your hair partially with a hair dryer instead of all the way, don't straighten it everyday, when curling sleep in curlers when possible.

My favorite thing to do with my hair is curls the ends of it. This can dry it though because of the curling iron, so a strong conditioner one every few weeks is good for it.

Try and keep the ends trimmed regularly to keep it healthy.

Well... Its actually e-z. All you have to do is get your split ends cut off each month. Brush your hair every day. And when you eat make sure you don't put your hair in your food.

thats what I do..

dont wash too often, dont bleach, dont use a flatning iron dont brush when its wet

do deep conditon once a week, sleep with a braid,do use a sation pillowcase,do style it in many different ways.....avoid having the same tight hairstyle, lika a tight ponytail, everyday it causes tearing.....and love ur hair...treat it like the finest piece of silk.....
