I am 28 and i still live witth my mom because i help her run a family business. I have always wanted to have long hair for as long as i can remember. She told me that i shouldnt grow my hair out long.

You are 28, tell mom very respectfully that you are a grown man and you feel better with your hair long and if you are helping with fam busisness there is no reason you cant take charge of yourself. If she chooses to tell you to leave well get another job and find a room or an apartment. You are grown.
